One of the first projects Fox on a Hill completed was Greg Brown’s 24th album, Yellow Dog. A live album recorded in Ishpeming, Michigan in August of 2005, it was released by Earthwork Music as a benefit for the Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve, currently under threat by ecologically devastating metallic sulfide mining.

The album features a few never-before-recorded tunes, in addition to some reworkings of old favorites.
